Hirnperfusion & Parkinson: Eine entscheidende Verbindung

Was ist ASL?
03. April 2025

Interested in truly non-invasive BBB imaging?
12. März 2025
Are you interested in truly non-invasive BBB imaging? We are. That’s why we are investigating in Multi-Echo Arterial Spin Labeling MR imaging techniques (a.k.a. BBB ASL) that enable Tex brain maps.
If you are using ASL sequences for your research you will be familiar with CBF and ATT maps. Our cutting-edge MR sequences together with sophisticated mathematical models go beyond these and produce Tex maps, which show the microvascular exchange dynamics and promise to be an indicator for BBB integrity.
More research in this field is to come and will show how Tex can be used clinically in the future. Be part of this research: Contact us if you want to join us on this exciting journey!
Not (yet) familiar with the wording? Here you go:
ASL Arterial Spin Labeling is a special MRI technique which uses magnetically labeled blood for perfusion measurements.
BBB Blood Brain Barrier… you have heard of that one.
CBF Cerebral Blood Flow is a measure for brain perfusion.
ATT Arterial Transit Time is the time taken from blood to travel from large arteries in the neck to the cerebral tissue.
Tex exchange Time serves as proxy for BBB permeability to water.

Meet our COO at the DGKN conference in Frankfurt
10. März 2025
Meet our COO Dr. Julia Müller in Frankfurt to discuss hot topics in Neuroimaging from Perfusion to BBB integrity.
How can we bring perfusion MRI into clinical application? How can we simplify the analysis of Arterial Spin Labeling MR images and provide sophistaced biomarkers for brain perfusion and micro-architecture? I am looking forward to discuss these topics with you at the DGKN e.V. Conference in Frankfurt this week.
