Our annual company team outing kicked off with a scenic hike along Heidelberg’s Philosophenweg, surrounded by lush greenery and breathtaking views.

After our invigorating hike, we relished an engaging guided tour of the ‘Brewery zum Klosterhof‘, where we explored the intricacies of brewing and savored delightful local beers. Did you know that they brew beer with holy water there?

Last week, the first workshop in the BosomShield project was hosted by the IBIB PAN (Institute of Biocybernetics and Biomedical Engineering of the Polish Academy of Sciences) in Warsaw.
Our Ph.D. candidate, Yaqeen Ali, presented his achievements towards federated learning approaches for breast cancer classification. The entire workshop discussion focused on how AI is shaping medical imaging, particularly in breast cancer.
