clinical research

Last week, the first workshop in the BosomShield project was hosted by the IBIB PAN (Institute of Biocybernetics and Biomedical Engineering of the Polish Academy of Sciences) in Warsaw.
Our Ph.D. candidate, Yaqeen Ali, presented his achievements towards federated learning approaches for breast cancer classification. The entire workshop discussion focused on how AI is shaping medical imaging, particularly in breast cancer. We would like to express our gratitude to IBIB PAN ( for organizing this inspiring session.

We cordially invite you to join the next ASL Network Dinner which will take place as usually in conjunction with ISMRM – this time in Singapore. mediri and Gold Standard Phantoms are looking forward to be your host on the evening of Sunday, May 5th in the Neon Pidgeon.

Meet leading experts as well as interested newbies in the research field of Arterial Spin Labelling and enjoy free drinks and food. See you there!
Don’t forget to register here.

Many thanks to our partners from Universitätsklinik Bonn, INSIGHTEC, and Fraunhofer MEVIS for a great collaboration in the concluded project tcFUScontrol funded by ZIM. We aimed at developing an Advanced Therapy Control System for transcranial MR-guided Focused Ultrasound for Essential and Parkinson’s Tremor.

The consortium made progress in using Arterial Spin Labeling (ASL) MR images to measure the permeability of the blood brain barrier (BBB). Apart from that, a software tool for easier therapy planning computing the location of nerve fibre tracks in the brain based on Diffusion Tensor Imaging was developed.

mediri wishes you merry christmas and a happy new year.
